Built in 1940, it was remodeled by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cfaarch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cerejeira Fontes Architects<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2015. After this intervention, its architecture allowed natural light to shine throughout the structure. Rich in wooden features, the Chapel earned an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com.br\/br\/979002\/arquitetura-e-espiritualidade-as-capelas-imaculada-e-cheia-de-graca-em-braga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ArchDaily<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Building of the Year Award in the Religious Architecture category, in 2019.
