With a degree in Communications, she opted to go into advertising instead of journalism and worked as an advertising creative until 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2011, she began her literary career with the novel <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thirty Something (Nothing&#8217;s How We Dreamed It Would Be)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, whose English translation made her the first Portuguese author to reach Amazon\u2019s Top 100.
