He studied Art and Archaeology at UAB and Universitat de Girona. For a few years, he devoted himself to historical research. His work <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Geniuses of the Renaissance and Italian Baroque<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> (Carroggio, 2006) was awarded the Primer Premio del Ministerio de Cultura. In 2018, he\u00a0won\u00a0the prestigious Strega Ragazzi prize\u00a0for his book\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Hachiko<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">, which had already earned the Josep M. Folch i Torres prize in 2014 and which has been translated into 14 different languages. In 2019, he was distinguished with the Ramon Muntaner award for his\u00a0novel\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Kambir\u00ed<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">. He received the Guillem Cifre de Colonya prize\u00a0for\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Corporaci\u00f3 d&#8217;alien\u00ecgenes<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> and he won the Folch i Torres for a second time with\u00a0his book\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Querido monstruo<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">.
