Born in Milan, 1948, he is a Chilean national. From his early youth, he has shown an interest in the art of photography. He worked as an assistant to Chilean photographer Tito Vásquez. In 1973, he left his home country to work in Oslo and London. In 1975, he established himself in Lisbon, where he opened his own photography studio, specializing in architecture, advertising, and book publishing. He also collaborates with numerous visual artists and regularly exhibits his own creative works.
