Francisco José Viegas will be at Utopia Braga on November 4th at 5pm.
Professor, journalist and editor, he is responsible for LER magazine and was director of Grande Reportagem magazine and Casa Fernando Pessoa. He was Secretary of State for Culture. He has written for several newspapers and magazines, and is the author of several novels, radio and television programs. His books have been published in several countries. He was awarded the Grand Prize for Novels by the Portuguese Writers’ Association for his novel “Longe de Manaus”, the Fernando Namora Prize for his novel “A Luz de Pequim” in 2019 and the Portuguese PEN Club Prize in the Narrative category, also for “A Luz de Pequim”.
