Miguel Esteves Cardoso (MEC) was born in Lisbon, in 1955, and he has wanted to be a writer for as long as he can remember reading. He has two daughters, Sara and Tristana Esteves Cardoso, and a very happy marriage with Maria João Esteves Cardoso. An author whose work encompasses all genres, MEC was the country’s first influencer, even before the term “influencer” became popular. For four decades, he has been painting the most original and beautiful portrait of one of the oldest countries in the world, called Portugal.
